Breaking Barriers, Building Futures: Highlights from the First Elevate Podcast Roundtable
Some conversations don’t end when the cameras stop rolling, they continue in the minds of everyone who was part of them.
That was the story of the very first Elevate Podcast Roundtable, hosted by ICIDAT Technology Ltd in collaboration with 2000 Brand. More than a podcast recording, it was a gathering of passionate individuals, innovators, creators, entrepreneurs, advocates, and change-makers united by one purpose: to have meaningful conversations that inspire growth and create lasting impact.
Held in recognition of the Month of Persons with Disabilities, the maiden edition focused on inclusion, opportunity, leadership, careers, entrepreneurship, technology, and the role of collaboration in building a society where everyone has the chance to thrive.
One of the most inspiring moments of the conversation came from Nen, founder of the Deaf Book Club in Jos, whose story challenged many assumptions about disability. Her voice, and her advocacy, reminded everyone that disability is not the absence of ability, but that many of society’s greatest barriers are created by a lack of accessibility, understanding, and inclusion.
The roundtable also featured engaging contributions from Mini T, whose perspective as a content creator highlighted the influence of digital platforms in shaping conversations and creating opportunities. Oluchi, Paul “The Young Rich Ruler,” and other distinguished participants enriched the discussion with practical insights on entrepreneurship, partnerships, personal growth, leadership, and the future of young people in Nigeria.
Throughout the conversation, one message remained clear: real progress happens when diverse voices are welcomed to the table. Whether discussing careers, technology, disability inclusion, business, or community development, every participant reinforced the importance of collaboration over competition and action over mere awareness.
