Telephone Man Click,
click, click, click goes the fingers
brushing against the fragile layers
of that glass that brightens
Our foolish ways within
The telephone man
sleeps in visions of the words
flickering on this plane,
Where illusion softens the doubts of every man
Click and press and click,
Our words are silent
as we drown into this bait
of clicks and likes and the vanity of a screen
Our morality is weighed
on the lines of the thoughts
we share in this thoughtless prison of desire and whim;
O telephone man.
When will your eyes see?
The visions of the sea
Or the ways of the seer?
Life is what lies before your eyes,
O telephone man..
